Pampered Pregnancy – Blissful Birth

Babies in the womb can hear and recognize sounds outside the womb as early as 23 weeks!  Their little minds come into the world already pre-programmed to begin processing and responding to musical stimulus.  As one of the oldest, most simple, fun and natural parenting tools, music is a must-have for daily life with babies and an indispensable tool  for every parent’s bag of tricks.  Music of course also helps develop language, memory, cognition, rhythm, phrasing, literacy, speech, breath and heart regulation, coping mechanisms, self soothing, fine and gross motor skills, counting…the list goes on and on! Tune into your inner rock star and build your lullaby repertoire beyond “twinkle twinkle” in this fun, yet practical, parent/child music/art/mov’t/language class that puts a new spin on the typical baby class. No registration fees. $75 for 6 classes, additional siblings are $25 each. Aunts, uncles, grandpas, and grammies are always welcome anytime, too.)

WEDNESDAY Mornings – 6-week sessions

Get Baby Rockin’! (mixed age – 9am)/ (babies -10am) - Creating a musical environment is a joyful way to spend playtime and a necessary nursery survival tool.  Whether your child is already showing a special love for music or “Mary Had a Little Lamb” has been on the rotation one time too many, this class is sure to delight you both!
