Pampered Pregnancy – Blissful Birth

The 2011 Austin Mother-Friendly Birth Professional Awards are a project of the Central Texas Doula Association.  CTDA wants to recognize the Austin birth professionals that are going out of their way to provide quality care for the women of Austin.  It’s the job of a doula to provide educational support to women throughout their childbearing years.  A result of the yearly poll is a list of the best referrals for pregnancy care in Austin, selected and voted on by real people to determine the best and brightest mother-friendly birth professionals the city has to offer.

Vote for your favorite birth professional in each category.  The first round, which will run until the end of July will consist of writing in your favorite.  August will commence with open voting for the top professionals in each category.  Check back in early September for a list of the winners!

This year’s awards have been facilitated graciously by the Get Babied! Doula collective, who have helped with web site creation and promotion, and prize donation.  Winners in each category will be eligible to receive a free massage, a bookstore gift certificate, bragging rights and badge to display on their website and at their office.  Please spread the word to friends and families so we can be sure to honor the best and most deserving professionals in each category.  We need your votes!
