One of the best gifts to give an expectant or new mother is a gift of doula services.  Expectant and new families receive so many gifts they don’t really need.  A thoughtful gift of birth doula services can help the new mother and her partner have a more joyful birth and/or provide them with valuable postpartum care.  Read more about our various birth doula packages in our services section.

A gift of postpartum doula care can provide breastfeeding support and answers to infant care questions so that it can be easier and more enjoyable for the parents of a newborn.  Postpartum doula care is help with infant care, breastfeeding support, sibling care, meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, emotional support, home organization, errand runs and safety tips. Postpartum doulas promote time for infant and family bonding while creating a sense of balance and organization during your recovery period.  We offer postpartum care starting at an hourly rate of $25, and offer many packages to customize your postpartum plan here.

Perhaps mama is already a client of ours, but would appreciate additional special add-ons to have an even more supported prenatal and postpartum period.  Your mama could enjoy many of our a la carte options as your gift to her.  Every mother deserves to be pampered!  60 minute prenatal massages are $85.  Or prepare mom-to-be with one of our great classes, starting at $35/couple.  Breastfeeding can be tricky in the beginning and nothing makes it smoother than support from a lactation consultant in your own home for $95 for our Get Babied Doula clients.   Or how about helping mom get back in shape (and get out of the house) with yoga!
