Postpartum pilates starts this week!

Pilates is a great way to rediscover your body after delivery! Perhaps your abdominal muscles haven’t bounced back like you wanted, or there’s a persistent sharp pain between your shoulder blades,. Maybe your bladder has a mind of it’s own, or you’re c-section recovery is taking longer than expected. Each of our post- partum body experiences are unique to us… but we all have them.
The goal of this series is to use the tenets of Pilates: strength, length, integration, breath, awareness, to find our own body’s power again. For some of us this may mean being able to do 50 push-ups for others it will mean rising from bed without pain.
Post-Partum Pilates can be a gateway to moving through our daily lives with more freedom and strength.
When: Thursdays, from 6-7. Starting June 28
How long: 6 weeks
Class will be limited to 8 mamas so everyone can have plenty of individual attention. Babes in arms very welcome. Sorry, no crawlers or walkers. Due to the nature of this workshop style class, pre-registration is required.
