Get Babied is pleased to announce the formation of The Get Babied Foundation! The Get Babied Foundation is a registered non-profit in the state of Texas that supports families in the greater Austin area who are unable to afford a doula care.
The Get Babied Foundation has opened up to applications for our scholarship program which will cover the cost of having a doula attended birth for a needy family. Scholarships are awarded based on financial need and/or special circumstances.
We encourage all those who are wanting a doula supported birth and feel it is beyond their financial resources to apply! Once an application is received it is reviewed by the board of directors and a decision is rendered.
The Get Babied Foundation encourages those who have had doula supported births to “pay it forward” by donating to our fund or purchasing items from our store that support the fund. Whether it’s $1.00 or $1000, ever dollar goes to the fund and is tax deductible.
